Mission Trip Opportunities
As believers, we are called to share the good news about God’s love. Jesus told his disciples to go out and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and teaching them to observe all of His commandments.
At LakePoint, we believe that every Christian should have the opportunity to experience a mission trip. We offer several different mission trips each year as well as local outreach opportunities.

Where you learn and put into practice ministering to the poor and homeless in New York City.

This trip involves many different types of ministry in the beautiful country of Belize.

Local Outreach Opportunities
Micah 6
Micah 6 is a community non-profit whose mission is, “To Build the Neighborhoods that Pontiac Deserves.” They have multiple neighborhood gardens as well as a produce store called Sprouts.
Micah 6 has purchased Webster Elementary and have dreams of turning it into a community center and office space for their neighbors. The school’s restoration is still underway, but the playground now contains green houses and gardens which host neighborhood picnics and special events throughout the year.
LakePoint has regular work days scheduled with Micah 6 as well as assisting with special events throughout the year.

VBS
Get ready for the greatest week of summer! LakePoint’s Vacation Bible School is the best place to be as we learn about God in a dynamic and fun atmosphere.
During VBS, we will enjoy snacks, put together arts and crafts, play games, win prizes, sing songs, run around and listen to the most exciting stories ever told as we make new friends and new memories that will last us a lifetime!
